Brussels was a very nice place with some AMAZING food. My favorite things were either the fries or the waffles. We found an amazing place for fries called Café Georgette and an incredible place for liege waffles called Le Roi de la Gaufre. The waffle was just so tasty with a little bit of powdered sugar on top and slightly caramelized edges. Sadly, we found it on our last day, so we only got to eat there once. As for the fries, we found it on the first day and didn’t try any other places because we had already found such a yummy place! We got three big paper cones filled with fries each day with three different sauces, too.
We saw three statues of a girl, a boy, and a dog all peeing which was kind of weird, but it’s one of the few touristy things Brussels has to see. They also have the European Parliament which we saw and it was pretty cool!
One day, when I was talking with my dad, I kind of stopped listening because I had found something incredible. We finished our conversation and then right after I shouted MOM! I then pointed to a Lindt shop and we all got really excited because the last time we had gone to a Lindt store was many months ago when we were in Vienna. This was our eighth Lindt store that we have visited! We then went into the store and each got three Lindt balls, and we all bought a big bar of Lindt. I am so glad that I spotted that! We rented a car to drive to Brussels and had a quick pleasant drive with a stop for lunch at a yummy döner kebab place. I had a great time in Brussels!!
