Exploring Cinque Terre

Riomaggiore is absolutely gorgeous. To get to where we were staying at, we had to climb a LOT of stairs, but I loved the exercise. The sunsets were so pretty. It seemed like the colors changed every 25 seconds! There were so many people there so it was pretty crammed. We also have been getting delicious gelato every night in Italy (sometimes more than once a day)… I want to keep the streak going! The hikes we did were my favorite part about Cinque Terre. We walked around the five villages and did two hikes between three of the villages. Only my Dad, William, and I went on the second hike. We were heading to a beach that was kind of far away and we decided that some wanted to do the hike and some wanted to go on the train. The hike was a challenge but it was super fun. When we got to the beach, we then realized how big the area was. It was enormous! Sadly, we couldn’t find the rest of our family for a couple hours! It turned out they were just playing at the beach. We were all relieved to find them. I think that Riomaggiore was very fun. I love Italy!
