the Sphaera, a work of art (about 30 feet high) on the Kapitelplatz (Chapter Square), beneath the Hohensalzburg Castle… I can’t say modern art is really my thing, but it was a catchy and unusual piece to look at as we passedover the Salzach Riverwaiting outside a little coffee shop one morning
another Lindt shop! #10 that we’ve visited this past year!
…and also the cheapest Lindt shop we’ve visited! our boys spend their own money if they decide to get a chocolate bar and this time they found it wise to get three eachon our way through Austria, we stopped briefly to look out over the grounds of Melk Abbey, an abbey built in the 1700s that is still operating and houses 40 monksback to k’mik! one of our favorite Vienna experiences last summer 🙂 It has been so fun having quick visits in a few places where we spent time last summer/fall
