We loved our time in Cinque Terre but noticed it was SO much more crowded than the other times I was/we were there (I was there in 2000 and Michael and I were there together in 2005). It also felt so much more catered to tourism… signs in English, most ground-level shops either restaurants or tourist shops… but it really is beautiful and I’m glad we went and our boys got to see it. The hiking was great and helped us keep our 10-13 mile per day walking streak going 🙂
fun in the water… swimming in the Ligurian Sea (only Findlay and Keegan because we hadn’t yet found the others after their second hike!):

Hi Jack!! The water was cool next to the really hot air but very comfortable after getting used to it!!
