We drove through Garmisch-Partenkirchen on our way to Salzburg but then we went….LUGING!! We were all so, so, so excited! First we went with our mom so our dad could keep our stuff safe in the car. We got a token ticket sort of thingy that we had to give to the worker who said when to go. It was really funny because I didn’t give the guy my token because I thought they just gave it to us for like a souvenir or something. So the next time we went down when our dad came with us, I was really confused because the guy was holding out his hand and I didn’t really know what he wanted!
Luging was really fun. The first time, I went full blast during the straight parts but it was a little bit scary at the curved parts going super fast so I slowed down. The second time we went down, I went full blast for the full time until I almost hit Tate‘s car. I was probably about 1 1/3 meters away from Tate‘s car because I was going full blast but then he slowed way down and I stopped because I was about to hit him. Anyways, luging was amazingly fun.
Whoa! I’ve skied just outside of Garmisch Patenkirchen – at a ski area called Lofer. But I didn’t get to Luge! Cool!
That sounds like a lot of fun skiing! It was really fun luging! Next time you are there you should go luging also!
