The Croatian coast (Dalmatia) really slows down during the off-season. I’d read as much but was still surprised by how many places were closed. These signs below were very common sights in Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar! My main reason for wanting to see Zadar was to see a sea organ that is on the coast — it is sound art that plays music when waves and wind interact with the tubes hidden by marble steps at the sea. It was really neat!
