Wrapping up… Part Two

This trip has been so fun and I have seen so many amazing things from Italian artwork to lions and hippos to hill tribes along the Mekong River. It was wonderful having friends (and grandparents!) come visit us or luckily have plans to be in the same place at the same time. It has also been great to make so many new friends! We have met quite a few families that are traveling around the world for long periods of time.

I wouldn’t be able to say what my favorite place is because there have been so many that I’ve loved! Some of my favorite places have included Ireland; England; Zagreb (Croatia); Thailand; Vietnam; Bali (Indonesia); Edinburgh; and Bled (Slovenia). My favorite local cuisine was Vietnamese and pho is my probably my favorite dish of all time!

A lot of my favorite memories have been fun, physical activities: rock climbing at Railay Beach; Treetop Adventure courses (Bali, Lake Bled, Zermatt); white water rafting and surfing (especially in Bali); our Segway tour in Krakow, Poland); running in Ireland; luging; playing at. Inverleith Park (Edinburgh); hiking in the Alps in multiple countries; and petting puppies all over the place.

I am really excited to see my friends again but I will miss travelling. When we are back home, it will be so fun to cook some of the yummy dishes that we have had on this trip! It will also be fun to return to our favorite recipes from home and get to enjoy those again.

I am definitely going to continue traveling and can’t wait to see all of these amazing places again.
