The Singapore Changi airport is the best airport in the world!! When we first walked in to check in for our flight to Penang, we saw a display of mesmerizing moving raindrops that we watched for a while and could have watched for a long time. While we were watching the raindrops, Mom and Dad were at an electronic self baggage check-in. We hadn’t seen a self check-in since Europe! After our passports were checked, we walked down to Jewel. Jewel is a fancy shopping center that is at the airport. When we got there we went to the Rain Vortex. The Rain Vortex is the world’s largest indoor waterfall. It was amazing! The dome shaped roof caved down in the middle and poured water down in a cylinder shape. The area around the waterfall was beautiful! It was like an indoor fairyland! After that we went to get toast and pastries before we went on our way to our terminal. (We went this far without going through security!) The toast was amazing and the pastries were really good! When we finally went through security, it was right at our gate. It was so convenient! The terminal was like an oversized lounge! There were comfy chairs and couches everywhere! We have a short layover in the Changi Airport on our way to Bali and I am super excited to return!
Great write up and love the Jewel. It’s so amazing to see in person; surreal. Great seeing you Findley chatting with Jack and Joe yesterday. 😀
I am so enjoying your fabulous trip!!Thank you for sharing!!
What a beautiful way to make a stressful place (airports) relaxing and rejuvenating!
