Two of our seven days in Dubrovnik were SO stormy… We ventured outside, but just barely, and one of the days only for coffee and for a grocery store visit. We were so relieved to find good coffee in Dubrovnik after not having had success finding any in Montenegro or Kotor!
It started pouring one morning while we were in Old Town. When we were ready to leave, we rushed up the hill which was flowing with water ~4″ deep (well above our shoes). It was crazy! We were dripping wet by the time we got back.
That sounds like it was some storm! I can’t believe the boats just thrown around like that. How exciting for you to experience on foot.
