It’s hard to believe that now we have seen every city we set out to see on this trip! Valencia was our last stop, only a few hours away from Barcelona by car. It’s a beautiful city with cute streets and a large indoor market. One of my favorite parts of of Valencia was the main square, where ornate and colorful buildings surrounded a big square sectioned off for pedestrians.
Back at school, I applied for and was offered the position of ASB Freshman Class Boy Representative, so we celebrated by going to an escape room! We actually tried to go to an escape room back in Granada but the staff didn’t show up, so we booked one here instead. It was one of the most fun escape rooms I’ve done! The setting was an orphanage where kids went missing a while back and we were trying to get out. We could either choose the normal setting or the “fear” setting, where the escape room worker would scare us throughout the game. We chose the normal setting because Keegan and Mom were with us (he’s young and she’s jumpy) and finished the game with only a couple minutes to spare! I wonder how far we would’ve gotten if the guy was scaring us the whole time…

Congratulations, William, on being selected for the freshman class boy representative for ASB!! That is an honor! I hope it will be really fun for you. Thanks also for writing about the last city. Blessings on you as you come back and dive back in to life in the PNW!
Thank you so much Mrs. Hakkarainen! We’re excited to see you guys again!
