One day in Vienna, we went to ride the Viennese Giant Ferris Wheel. It was really pretty and the Ferris wheel cars were different from the London Eye. They were like boxes and from the top we could see all the other rides and they were all really thrilling rides. One of them was white and it lifted you to the top and spun really fast and then dropped you down. When we were at the top, our dad said that we might be able to do another ride. After that, we walked around and had trouble deciding which ride to do. They all looked so fun. Finally, William decided that he was going to do the high swings. That one that lifted you, spun, and then slowly dropped. As it got near the bottom it started going faster. My mom and other brothers decided that they would join him and were trying to convince me that I should do it. My mom even said that she would get a treat for me if I did it and in case I didn’t like it I could choose one more ride. My dad bought tickets for all of us but I didn’t really want to do it because I didn’t really feel safe being lifted 90+ meters into the air and then being dropped down while spinning. I said I didn’t want to go so my brothers and mom went and I was going to see how much they liked it. My dad and I watched them go on it. They loved it and I didn’t want my dad to go by himself so then my dad and I went together. It was awesome!!! I felt safe because there was a buckle that wasn’t able to unbuckle and there was another buckle in between my legs and a metal bar that wasn’t able to be lifted up. As we were coming down, it started going a lot faster and when we were able to see my brothers and mom, I shouted, “I’M SO GLAD I DID THIS!” maybe about five times. After that, I was saying to all my brothers and mom that I would’ve regretted it if I didn’t do it and that I was so glad that I did it. They were so proud of me for being brave. After that I was able to get a treat from the store (sadly, not a puppy).
Wow! You were really brave.
Great post Keegan! Yes that is sad that is wasn’t a puppy 😁
You showed real bravery on this one! I would have been scared, too. Way to go!
