Ok, I am surprised that I am right on that! I thought they look like cobblestones, but they appear shiny and also the size is smaller the one that I saw in England and other western part of Europe. Do you think the cobblestones on the ground of Mostar market are smaller? It’s hard to tell because I have never been there and also your superb-magazine-like photographs make ordinary cobblestones so artsy! 🙂

I think they are smaller… and more varied in color than cobblestone in Italy (for example). They’re also not really close together like cobblestone usually is… and they made nice designs like flowers out of them! It was really pretty.
