The drive through Bosnia was stunning with its craggy mountains and emerald green river. We enjoyed getting to see the scenery during our drive from Sarajevo to Mostar after having missed it on our way into Sarajevo (the day we spent our final daylight hours hanging out at the border gas station). It was cloudy and rainy (pouring at times) but we loved the views and were intrigued and shocked by the many abandoned buildings, which are all over the Balkans.
