Maltese Heat

Malta was our first stop after leaving England. We arrived at 10:00 p.m. and were expecting heat, but were still surprised by the intense humid heat that hit us when we stepped off of the airplane. That day, the high had been 109F with a RealFeel of 125F, and after just a couple minutes of holding still and waiting outside for our driver, most of us were sweating. That was what the weather was like for our whole stay. The high was always in between 90 and 107 and it was very humid! Malta is a very cool-looking country, with pretty water views and Italian-looking buildings. We did a lot of summer school work, with some walks here and there, but during the middle of the day it was too hot to be outside for very long. The food was really good, my parents really enjoyed the coffee, and it was a fun time for all of us.
