I absolutely loved our safari. It was awesome. Peter, our guide, was so nice, talkative, and he had so much knowledge about the animals. My favorite five animals that I saw were the buffalos, rhino (we just saw one; those are really rare), giraffes, lions, and elephants. At one point, we saw two lions together and one of them had the biggest mane I have ever seen in my life! The most interesting and scary part was when the lioness was trying to get some shade under a car, but the driver of the car didn’t know that the wheel was right next to her tail. He started to drive forward, but he rolled right onto the lioness’s tail! She roared in pain. I got kind of scared because I was up in the front and I was really close to the lion. The lion cubs that we spotted a different time were also adorable. We think we saw 30 lions in total!
Wow! The lady lion was really giving that man lion what for, wasn’t she! And you’re right – the cubs are sooooo cute.
We loved reading about the lions! That would be really fun to get so close to them.
