I love Ireland

This week we came to Ireland. It is really fun. We have had lots of yummy food and have seen pretty sights and lots of sheep. We went on lots of hikes and we had fun on the top of all the mountains we climbed. We saw lots of sights from all directions. We got a great rental house and squishy rental car.

A couple days ago we went to Blarney Castle where all of my family kissed the Blarney Stone.  I tried but couldn’t reach and I was too scared because they made you lean over backwards and upside down and I was too short.  And I couldn’t see where I would fall if I did fall.  There were metal bars that, if I fell, I would dive and hit my head on the metal bars.

My favorite food that I’ve had so far has been sausage and chips.  In America they call chips fries but they were fatter than French fries.  I had sausage and chips for dinner last night and it was amazing.  The name of the restaurant was O’Donnabhain’s and there was really loud, live music.  After that, surprisingly, I didn’t have trouble sleeping.  When I listened to the really loud, live music, I thought it would make me have one of the songs stuck in my head but I fell asleep really easily.  I’ve had a lot of trouble falling asleep in Ireland because we’re trying to go to bed a lot earlier than when we were in Iceland.  Iceland doesn’t really get dark at all even at midnight and that’s when we went to bed every night in Iceland!
