Climbing Towers and Watching Movies near the Astronomical Clock of Prague

In Prague we had the chance to climb the Petrin Tower. There was a long walk up a hill to get to it – Keegan had a difficult time with it. The tower itself looked a bit like a downsized version of the Eiffel Tower. Once we climbed the hill and the tower, we got to see a great view of Prague. It’s so fun to see views from up high! Later in the day we attended a Vivaldi concert and heard a vocalist + chamber orchestra. They were all very good.

Mom, Dad, and I have been watching older kid movies most nights while my brothers watch a different show. We usually start late, so it takes us a couple nights to finish. So far, we have watched Swing Kids, School Ties, Mrs. Doubtfire, Dead Poets Society, Stand and Deliver, and Life is Beautiful. I loved them all, but especially School TiesDead Poets Society, and Mrs Doubtfire. Now we are in the middle of Mrs. Doubtfire, and I love it! Robin Williams was such a great actor.

Right around the corner from our apartment in Prague was the Astronomical Clock. It shows the time, position of the sun and the moon, zodiac symbols, a skeleton rings a bell, and a rooster crows as the twelve disciples cycle past in windows under the rooster. Wow! It does a lot.
