We had such a good time in Bergen! We explored the city a bunch (with the help of our tour guide, Mr. Cox), we went for runs, we found a great swimming spot where we could jump in the North Sea, and we had a daytrip to go see some of the Norwegian countryside. A highlight was definitely swimming in a beautiful fjord. There were a couple different high dives, a few saunas, a diving board, and a heated swimming pool for the people who don’t want to experience the North Sea. Our estimate for the height of the highest high dive was 30-35 feet. It didn’t look too bad from below, but it was certainly exhilarating from up there! William and I both eagerly jumped off the top one right away, but it took a bit of persuasion (and in some cases, bribing) to get the others to jump. All five Hartshorn boys walked away having taken the leap, though, so we were all able to leave Bergen in peace!
