The day we went to Hallstatt I wasn’t feeling great, but I still really enjoyed the beautiful city. We first drove from Munich to Salzburg, which should’ve taken us an hour and a half but wound up taking 3 hours and 45 minutes because it took us over two hours just to get out of Munich! We still wanted to visit Hallstatt that day, because we had plans during our time in Salzburg, so we dropped off our stuff at our hotel, got back in the car, and drove another hour and fifteen minutes to reach Hallstatt. It was kind of a lot of time in the car, but it was definitely worth it. It was a gorgeous, cute, magnificent town with amazing drinking water that comes from a nearby glacier. An ice cream bar that I got made me feel a lot better. (How could it not?) The next day, I felt back to normal!
