Dad’s back!

I was really happy that on our second time bike riding in Hoi An, our dad was able to come. He said he felt a ton better and that he thought that he was out of his sickness! We rented our bikes from the same guy, and everything was perfect. We pedaled our bikes down the roads with tons of motorbikes going at a pretty quick speed. It was really fun having the cool breeze blowing on my face and looking at all of the beautiful sights of Hoi An. We first rode to a bakery, where we got pretty tasty little carrot cakes and a banana chocolate chip bread. We then paid to park our bikes in a bike lot, and then went on the beach. But before doing that, we ran into the Browns in the bike lot! We had planned to meet up with them and arranged to meet again in a bit after they went to find some lunch.

On the beach, there were pretty big waves, but not quite as big as Nha Trang. It was very pretty. We wanted to visit a coffee shop down the beach and the Browns met us there. We talked for a while and Findlay, Keegan, Zach, and I played Uno. It was really fun. Afterwards, we slowly walked back while Zach, Findlay, and I played with Zach’s football that he had. brought. It was really fun and entertaining. We said goodbye to them and then biked back on the busy but beautiful roads of Vietnam. We took a detour on our way to check out a path that went through the rice fields. We saw a cow and its calf that was so cute and tiny (for a cow). We made our way back to Hoi An and returned our bikes. It was a great day!
