To get to Nha Trang, north of Vietnam on the coast a couple hours, we got to take a train. But not just any train…. a night train! We were all very excited for this and finally it was time. I was expecting barely any room, really hard beds, and that someone might steal some of our stuff. It turned out there was barely any room and the beds were very hard… but luckily when we got off of the train, we counted six people and none of our stuff was stolen. We had two sleeper rooms: one of them had Mom, Keegan, Findlay, and me (we could lock our door); the other had William and Dad. There were four beds in each room, so we were expecting William and Dad to have strangers with them but surprisingly they didn’t! We left the train station at 11:15 PM so it was very late at night and most of us were tired so we went straight to bed. Even though the beds were not comfy in the slightest, we all slept fine. In the morning, Keegan, Findlay, and I watched some shows we had downloaded before we packed up and got off of the train at 11:15 AM, two hours after the time the train was due to arrive. We enjoyed our night train!

Hi Tate, Thank you SO much for sharing your thoughts on this! I have the same question as Ms. Brown. Would you do it again? I slept on a train once when I was traveling in Europe. It didn’t have bunk beds but the seats sort of pulled down and together so I could lay down. I did it by myself though and I think I might have enjoyed it more if I were with friends or family. I am so glad you got to have this experience. Blessings on you each!
