100th day of travel in Prague

On our 100th day of travel, Mom and Dad surprised us by giving us mentos and telling us that we would be going to an escape room! We were all so excited. Findlay, Keegan, and I hadn’t done one yet in our lives, but William, Dad, and Mom had done them before. When they told us, we were all shouting with joy and excitement. We had to walk for a while to get there, but it was good because we got lots of exercise. When we got there, we were greeted by a person who told us the rules and then she left us in the room. It was quite an experience and it was so fun. There were lots of puzzles that would lead to keys to unlock different chests and stuff. Earlier, my dad had told us that if we found any locks, numbers, colors, or paintings on the wall we should say it out loud so that we could all figure it out. Right when we got in there, I found a painting on the wall so I tried to slide it over and it worked! That led to a hole so that we could look into another room. There was also a hole beneath the painting. Later, we used a walking stick to stick it through the hole into the other room to knock over a key on the ground, so that a person could grab it from the bottom hole. When we got into the other room, we decoded a puzzle and a lock and finally found the thing that we were trying to get. Our time was 1 hour 3 minutes and 47 seconds. It was hard!! Unlocking all the locks and figuring out the puzzles was so satisfying! We all agreed that it was so entertaining. Next, we walked a lot more to get to the #1 restaurant in Prague! It was Indian food and I loved it. We got a few dishes including one of my favorites in the world: chicken tikka masala. The food was so tasty and scrumptious. In one order of naan, there are five big pieces, so we ordered three orders for us (six people) and that was plenty. The table next to us ordered four orders for four people! That is twenty pieces of naan for four people! Of course they didn’t know that there were five pieces in one order, but it was hilarious. They asked their server if that was too much and he said, “Well, maybe you could do with three or maybe even just one order.” We were all laughing our heads off in our minds and we all laughed really hard when we got outside. I had an amazing 100th day of travel.
