Marmite is a food spread made from yeast extract. People seem either to love it or hate it, and our whole family is deep into the hating it side. I tried eating a little bit of it on toast every day for about two weeks in an attempt to learn to like it… and while it got better, it is still not something I enjoy eating. To me, it tastes like heavily salted super sharp expired cheddar cheese. Tate thinks it tastes like throw up. Keegan cried when he tried it. Yeah, it’s really bad. Apparently my grandad (my mom’s English dad) eats it every morning with his tea. My mom has had tastes of it throughout her life but has never acquired a taste for it. It was worth a shot to me to try to like it, but I think it’s a lost cause!

So disgusting!!!
I just love all of the drawings you all have created! What a talented family! Thank you for sharing your travel lives! I am quite sure the marmite would be on my list of “things I least like to eat”…..think I might rather go pick edible flowers to eat! You were all very brave to try!
