The Search for Cadbury’s Chocolate

I think the main reason we chose dublin as the last country of our trip was the chocolate. We always finish off our summers by cleaning out whichever store has the best priced chocolate of their chocolate. We did well this time. After a long, 3 day search, we finally chose Tesco to give our 100ish Euros to, in exchange for Twirls, Flakes, Wispas, Dairy Milk bars, Caramel bars, Whole Nut bars, and 8 large containers of Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate powder. It made our suitcases a bit heavier, which was very worth it. We found some great food here, including fried chicken sandwiches, Thai food, Chinese soup, pastries from Bread 41, Indian food (twice), and some sort of Latin-Mexican cheese pork. We watched Once, which was filmed in Dublin, and then walked along Grafton street to Fuselier’s Arch, where part of it was filmed. That was pretty cool. We got scolded by a homeless lady for not diving in some dumpster for her (she asked very kindly, but quickly turned sour after we declined), walked across many bridges and down to Temple Bar, and Keegan, Findlay, and I did a bunch of running in the park. It was an amazing place to run in, especially after a few weeks of near/over 100 degree heat. It was mostly 60 and cloudy, perfect running weather. I loved getting to spend some more time in Ireland. It’s sad this is our last place, but we’re excited to get home to Dad and Murphy!
