The safari was awesome!!

I loved seeing all of the animals and the wildlife. Our guide’s name was Peter. He was super kind and easy-going. He has a great eye for animals and their tracks. Some of the animals we saw were wildebeest, elephants, lions, warthogs, cheetahs, hyenas, Cape buffalos, giraffes, vultures, baboons, monkeys, mongooses, zebras, and pelicans. Between land animals and birds, we saw over 60 different animals! The first national park we went to we had lunch under some trees. BAD IDEA!! Never eat lunch under trees when monkeys are around. They were bugging us the whole time! They stole my hummus and Keegan’s banana! We stayed in a couple different places that were super pretty with great rooms and food, but then the next place was incredible!! We slept in big, amazing tents with three beds in each tent in the middle of the Serengeti National Park! When we went to bed we could hear buffalos and lions! One night we could hear them fighting!
