My name is Tate and I am 10 years old. I love sports. My favorite sport is soccer, but I also enjoy basketball and baseball. I am very excited for our trip around the world because I’ll get to see many new places. I’m most excited for when we go to Thailand, because of the food. One of my favorite foods is Thai food. I am also thrilled for the cruise. I am looking forward to it because there will be waterslides, zip lines, rock climbing, surfing simulators, all-you-can-eat food, and the cruise line owns a whole island full of fun. My grandparents will come on the cruise and I’m excited for that also. We will be happy to see our friends who come and visit us while we travel. We will be homeschooling while we’re on the trip. I am very excited to learn about the history of the places we’re going to. I will be in pre-algebra and will be learning through a website called Khan Academy.
One reason I am sad about leaving is that I won’t be able to see my friends and grandparents for a while. I will also miss sports, piano, teachers, and The Bear Creek School. When it’s time to come home I will be so happy to see my friends again. I hope they recognize me.
