Taking on Porto by land and by sea

For one of our days in Porto, we rented bikes from a shop at 9:30, biked to a surfing lesson at 10:30, and then had the bikes for the rest of the day. The whole day was really fun and we ended up riding about 23.5 miles in total. One of the highlights of our ride was crossing the Luis I Bridge over to the Gaia side of the river and checking out the fisherman’s wharf and the quaint waterfront restaurants they have on the south side. It made us wish we had more time in Porto to explore! This was one of those days where we got to the end completely wiped out, exhausted, and so full of great feelings about squeezing every ounce of life that we could out of one waking period.

the waves were tougher to catch than in Bali, but we managed to get in some good runs!
