Throughout our European travels, I pretty much did push-ups whenever and wherever I could. Whether it was in a coffee shop, on a street, on a hike, on a train, it didn’t matter, as long as if there was a ground, and I had 45 seconds of time on my hands. I started with sets of 10 or 15, and worked my way up to sets of 50 and 60. The most I did in one day was 1600, and the most I did in a row was 130. My original goal for the summer was 30k, because last summer I did 26k, but I surged past that goal and ended up doing 40,000 push-ups! Next summer—50k??
