One of the activities we did in Bali was climbing on a ropes course at Treetop Adventure Park. After another early wakeup, our driver, Yung, took us about 2 hours north up to the Bali Botanical Gardens, where the ropes course wound through the trees. The scenery was beautiful and there were different levels of difficulty for those who wanted to challenge themselves or take it easy. In total there were 7 circuits covering 72 challenges with a height range of 2 – 20 meters. One of our favorites was the Tarzan Swing where you stand high above the ground on a platform and then jump, using a thick rope to swing through the trees onto a net. We were hooked in by carabiners the whole time, so it was all safe. There were also a lot of ziplines that took us from platform to platform. Right at the end the daily downpour started, so we timed it perfectly! Definitely a highlight of Bali.
So cool! Our family did a zip line course in Nicaragua in February – and it reminds me of this. There were about 8 different platforms that we zoomed on and off of. What fun! Our course had howler monkeys screaming at us along the way. Did you see any animals?
