Last Day at Sea (22 June)

Sadly, today was our last day on the cruise.  In the morning my brothers and I went to the flowrider.  The flowrider is a surfing simulator.  I love it!  It is fun when you wipe out!  Then we went to the water slides. There is a green water slide where you go down the slide and into a funnel.  It is awesome!!  There was an adult men’s belly flopping contest.  Some of the splashes were huge!!  We went to play ping pong after watching the contest.  I have gotten a lot better throughout the cruise.   We had lunch at a place called the Windjammer.  My parents, grandparents, and my brother William all went to see a show called Grease, and Tate, Keegan, and I stayed in our room and watched cricket and soccer.  Then we played soccer in the sports court.  It was very fun.  I scored two goals!  After that we went to see a flowrider competition.  There were some great surfers!  Next I slid down the Abyss, which is a dry slide that mostly dark and has weird spiral lights. 

We had dinner at The American Icon. We have had dinner there five of the seven nights we were on the cruise.  Our waiters were named Imade and Aung.  Imade was from Indonesia and Aung was from Myanmar.  They were both super friendly and great waiters.   There was always a staff member named Nestor in the hall on the way to dinner that had hand sanitizer and said, “Washy washy!  No washy, no foody!  No foody, no happy!  No happy, go homey!  Nooo waaay!” 

Tomorrow (Sunday) we are heading off to Iceland to see our good friends, Mr Cox, Mama and Papa Barrett, and the Tardifs.  I am excited to see my friend Gavin who I haven’t seen in a while.  We are meeting them at Costco in Reykjavik! We are shopping for food to take with us in the RV that we are renting to drive around the country.  In Iceland, we will see geysers, waterfalls, puffins, and go on some hikes.  I am so excited!
