We have been in Tanzania the past couple weeks. My family and I love Tanzania!
That’s a picture of a huge live butterfly next to my dads foot. And the surprising thing is that isn’t fake or dead. It flew to a different spot!
We saw monkeys at lunch and one of them got on our table and stole Findlay’s hummus! Luckily, Mr Cox, who met us in Tanzania, slammed the monkey in the leg really hard to get it away because monkeys can get really vicious!
This is Ngorongoro Crater. First, we drove near it and then on our final safari day we drove into the crater and saw tons of animals.
This is a picture of a village we went to. In the village there live the Maasai people. There, we dressed like Maasai people and learned how they live. Instead of houses they live in huts.
That’s a picture of a buffalo up close! 🐃 We were on a safari when we saw that giant thing.
On the safari we had a great driver. His name is Peter. It is really hot in Tanzania even though it is winter. Peter said it never snows there. 🥵 I also got to sit in the front seat! The view was awesome and I don’t usually get to sit in the front.
Those are pictures of hippos!🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛that’s how many hippos there were!!!
Wow, Keegan. How FUN to sit in the front with Peter. Mr. Cox said he was an amazing person with great communication skills. Really like the picture of you in the shawl, holding the shaft. Mama Barrett
Dear Mama Barrett, thank you for your comments! I always am really excited to read comments. Peter was very awesome and friendly!
Dear Keegan,
Thank you for sharing your adventure stories and amazing photos of your visit to the Ngorongoro Crater! It was the highlight of a trip I took to Tanzania a loooong time ago. Did you see any lions?
We think of and talk about your family frequently. Keep having so much fun!
Thank you Mrs Mason! We did see a bunch of lions and I was very excited to see all of them. One of the most exciting part of seeing the lions was when one of the lions was roaring really loudly at the cars. It was fun to see that.
Keegan I just love reading your view point on this trip! Those are some amazing pictures and some wonderful things that you got to see and do. Love you!
