This past week we’ve been staying in a neat little house in Dean Village, Edinburgh. The best part about Dean Village is seeing the amazing architecture – buildings were built a long time ago and they all look like parts of castles! Because of the lockdown laws in the UK, we have only been getting out of the house a couple times a day, but we love the beautiful backdrop to our daily walks. Our days have been pretty much exact copies of each other: wake up, do schoolwork, get groceries, have dinner, watch a show, go to bed. Repeat. Repeat again. I bet our routine is pretty similar to many people out there right now!
These pictures (as always) are stunning! So fun to see the variety of places you have traveled. Enjoy Scotland and thank you for the fun and so interesting posts. We hope you stay well and we miss you!
Thanks Mrs. Russell! We miss you guys too!
Incredibly interesting architecture for sure. Have so enjoyed watching your hopscotch around the world, it’s been such a gift to get to see a little bit of everywhere you have been. Yup, that’s about what my routine is but I don’t have to do school work. Be well.
Yes — we love it! Thank you Mrs. Rouse!
How does it feel to be in cooler temps again? The age of things in Scotland must feel different than the age of things in southeast Asia – what are you noticing about that?
I love the cooler temperatures! It makes walking waaaay easier!! Scotland definitely feels more developed that anywhere in SE Asia (besides Singapore), but the buildings still look (and are) very old. There are also sidewalks…
Beautiful pictures…My love and prayers are with all of you on this amazing journey during such unusual times. Stay safe and healthy…Love, Kathy
Thank you Kathy!!
