Science Centres are Awesome!

When we were in Warsaw, we went to four museums! My favorite one was the Copernicus Science Centre. At the science centre, we did fun science activities. One of them was how many calories someone burns by rowing on a rowing machine. It took me a while to burn two calories! On a different one, there was a slanted conveyor belt and there was a slinky on it and it was moving the slinky like it was walking down the belt but walking in place. Another one was using a wheelchair and going through an obstacle course but you don’t use the wheelchair because you broke your legs, you use it to see how hard it is to use a wheelchair. Another was called the Magic Carpet. We’d sit on it and press a button on the carpet and it would lift us off the ground and we’d move around barely touching the ground.

The picture below shows when I was screaming. You couldn’t hear it outside the booth but I was actually screaming really loudly. If I did that outside of the booth it would really hurt someone’s ears. It was showing how many decibels I was screaming. Decibels are a measure of loudness.

This is when I was screaming really loudly (I sounded like a yeti)
This was William putting his teeth way too close. He looks like a t-rex.
Here, Tate is doing a speed game.
Findlay doing the same game as Tate
