Apparently Albania has decided that all new construction in Tirana must be irregular or misshapen. It makes for some really interesting views! We didn’t even realize that one of the buildings clearly resembles a face until seeing the picture above (2nd from top on the right)

We stumbled upon a near-empty theme park one evening on our way to dinner and decided not to chance it

Later that same walk after passing by the theme park, Google took us down a garbage-filled street in front of a brand new development that contained our restaurant destination. We had to dodge the garbage, broken glass, and puddles of who-knows-what, but ended up having a tasty Italian meal

Tourist destination aptly named the Heart Tunnel

A pleasant coffee shop we visited a couple times called RUBI Cakes & Specialty Coffee

Tirana Lake Park is home to a somewhat abandoned track that is mostly intact and was great for some workouts

Climbing the 90-step clock tower at Skandergeb square where we happened upon some brand new baby pigeons at the top
