We spent 2 weeks in France as part of our summer travels, and we got to see Annecy in the French Alps and Lyon, which are both really cool towns in France. While we were there we did lots of stuff! I’m training for a half marathon in October, so a 30-45 minute chunk of each day was spent running and then cooling down after!
On our first morning in Annecy there was a big market right outside our place, and it stretched for a few blocks. The goods that we bought there were so yummy and fresh! It was so loud and exciting, and I had no idea I would be waking up to that, so it was really cool!
When I ran with my dad and my brothers, we would get back pretty close to our place was, and we would swim in the lake! It felt so refreshing to cool down, and the water was up to my waist until it felt like 150 meters in!
We have a fun travel ‘tradition’ where in the mornings my parents get coffee, and then one of us (me or one of my brothers) gets to go with them, which is really fun! We rotate in a line from oldest to youngest. I got some yummy pancakes at one of the coffee shops 🤤
Next stop… Iceland 🇮🇸 👋👋👋
